The Columbia River runs 1243 miles form its headwaters in British Columbia to the Pacific Ocean in Astoria, OR. The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area spans an 85 mile stretch from Troutdale to The Dalles, an area highlighted by over 77 waterfalls, 800 wildflower species and 200+ miles of hiking trails with access to the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness and Mount Hood National Forest.
